Detailed Responsibilities (typical)
- Plan, supervise and execute civil and structural works for marine/industrial projects to specification.
- Coordinate multi-discipline teams, subcontractors and vendors to meet schedule and quality targets.
- Implement QA/QC checks, painting inspections, NDT coordination and arrange corrective actions when needed.
- Prepare drawings, shop drawings and as-built documentation (for draftsmen / engineers).
- Enforce HSE policies, conduct toolbox talks and maintain incident reporting (HSE Officers).
- Lead fabrication teams, maintain welding quality and ensure adherence to technical standards.
- Manage material stores, inventory, issue documentation and logistic handovers for store keepers.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant diploma/degree for engineers; trade certification for foremen, welders, carpenters and masons.
- Proven experience in marine/industrial project environments preferred (structural fabrication, piping, coatings).
- Minimum X years experience for supervisory roles — replace X with required number in final post.
- Safety certifications (e.g., NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent) preferred for HSE roles.
- Valid passport for international deployment and ability to travel to Oman for site postings.
- Strong English communication, basic MS Office skills and ability to read engineering drawings.
